.05 Tax Clearance Certificate—Duty to Provide Copy of Request.

A nonresident contractor shall promptly provide the person required to withhold 3 percent of the contract price with a copy of the written request for a tax clearance certificate, which has been acknowledged as received by the Comptroller of the Treasury, Compliance Division, and contains the date the written request was received by the Comptroller of the Treasury, Compliance Division.
