"One continuing education unit (CEU) means 1 clock hour of participation in an organized continuing education experience that is:1) Related to the clinical practice of electrology;. 2) Obtained after original licensure is granted; and. 3) Approved by the Board..
10.53.04.02.htm 10.53.04.02. 02 Continuing Education Requirements.. A. A licensed electrologist shall:. 1) Complete 10 clock hours of Board-approved CEUs by October 28 of each year of licensure; and. 2) Provide proof of completion to the Board upon renewal of licensure.. B. Beginning in 2015 and for every subsequent 2-year renewal period, a licensed electrologist shall:. 1) Complete 20 clock hours of Board-approved CEUs by October 28 in each renewal year; and.

The Board shall approve a course, seminar, or speaker session if it is:. 1) Relevant to the clinical aspect of electrology; and. 2) Offered by a:. a) College or university approved by MHEC;. b) State or national professional electrology association;. c) Board-approved electrology program; or. d) Health department or hospital..
