10.44.23.01.htm 10.44.23.01. 01 Definition.. A. In this chapter, the following term has the meaning indicated.. B. Term Defined. "Legitimate patient" means a patient who has an existing written dental record or who has one created within 72 hours of the patient's first communication with the dentist.

The following shall constitute unprofessional or dishonorable conduct in the practice of dentistry, dental hygiene, or dental radiation technology:1) Misrepresenting the following to a patient or the public:. a) The description, chemical composition, or quality of the materials the licensee uses or intends to use; or

A dental hygienist who violates this chapter is subject to the sanctions enumerated in Health Occupations Article, §4-315(b) Annotated Code of Maryland.C. A dental radiation technologist who violates this chapter is subject to the sanctions enumerated in COMAR 10.44.19.11A.
